Scope and Contents
The Elizabeth C. Wallis collection contains photographs of P.C.W. during her time attending the college. There are 5 pages of photographs which depict the scenery of campus, friends, and the Mountain Day Picnic. The collection also contains one newspaper clipping from the time of Miss Helen Coolidge passing away.

Biographical or Historical Information
Elizabeth Corey Wallis, born Elizabeth Z. Corey attended the Pennsylvania College for Women (P.C.W.) from 1924 to 1928. During her time at P.C.W. Elizabeth participated in many organizations such as the Cercle Franciase, Woodland Hall House Board, and Pennsylvanian Staff. She was also Class Secretary, and played on the Hockey Team. Additionally, she and other students went on a trip to Europe, where they were able to see part of the 1928 Olympic Games in Amsterdam. After graduating in 1928, she went on to marry John E. Wallis, and have two children Richard C. Wallis and Nancy C. Wallis in the 1930s. Elizabeth Corey Wallis passed away in 1999 at the age of 92.

Elizabeth Corey Wallis attended the Pennsylvania College for Women from 1924-1928. She was involved in many organizations at P.C.W. and these activities are documented in this collection.
Arrangement Note
The Elizabeth Corey Wallis Collection has remained in the condition it was given to the Archives. Photographs remain on original scrapbook paper. Series 1, Newspaper Clipping The Collection contains one newspaper clipping written by Florence Fisher Parry for an unknown newspaper. The article is a tribute to Miss Helen Coolidge after her passing. Series 2, Photographs of P.C.W., 1924 – 1928 The Photographs detail the campus and students of P.C.W. while Elizabeth Corey Wallis attended. It is unknown if Wallis herself took the photographs or just collected them.
